Professional Experience
I am an IT professional with 30 years’ experience and an MSc in IT. I am a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS CITP) and have over 13 years at Board level across a range of organisations. I have a voluntary, advisory role with the Institute of Cancer Research.
I have excellent strategic appreciation and professional acumen. I have the ability to influence at an individual, management and strategic level. I also really enjoy more technical side - making systems work, and ensuring people can get the best from new systems.
How I can help your organisation
Many organisations simply don’t have the in-house capacity or expertise to introduce, change or embed IT systems effectively - employees are just too busy with the ‘day-job’. This is the scenario in which I often add most value - being the extra expert resource that can drive a project to success.
I’m able to translate complex technical issues into plain English, and ensure others have confidence in the IT strategy and approach.
Of course, I undertake other IT consultancy work too. My full CV is available on request.
